In the morning of October 13, 2016, our CEO Stanley Chee conducted a 2.5-hour long Digital Marketing workshop for Vistage in Puchong.
Founded in 1957, Vistage is a gathering of chief executives in peer advisory groups to share their experiences and help each other improve performance for their businesses. With more than 21,000 members to-date, they meet in small groups to help each other gain new perspectives and achieve desired results.
Stanley began the session by talking about the digital marketing funnel along with the key measurable results such as reach, engagement, unique visitors, unique conversions, etc.. He also highlighted the general rule of thumb on performance media and how the quality score of campaigns matters a lot in digital marketing.
Most people did not know that targeting is the single most important thing in digital marketing. More so than the content of the ads themselves. It is the reason why Facebook is worth what it does.
After the explanation on the different ad channels and what they know about you, Stanley went on to elaborate on The Five Things a Digital Agency Will Never Tell You. Here they are in a nutshell:

Right after that was a presentation of Gapture® case studies created with actual data from real campaigns. These data are often results of the research done for Gapture's client according to their industrial needs. This also showcased the advantages and benefits of digital marketing campaigns for various industries.
Following the slideshow presentation, Stanley enlightened the workshop attendees with all the devices and technologies that is shaping the future of digital marketing. Along with that he also talked about some technologies that will be available in the near future.
Finally, Stanley signed off with great insights on ways to enhance the attendees' current websites. This included tips on how to make them more functional and user friendly.
